Da Vinci students are water-wise

would like to thank the environmental science students of Bekeh Rottenberg’s class at Da Vinci High School for their excellent presentation of the facts regarding the current water challenges faced by the Davis community.

Last week at the International House, the students presented a comprehensive overview of the current system now in operation in Davis as well as many related water facts. They then introduced the proposed solution to improve the quality of water available here in Davis and bring us into compliance with new stricter requirements coming in the future.

I now understand the need for action at this time not only to improve the quality of our water both incoming and outgoing, but also to contain future costs. It makes a lot of sense and I hope that the students will continue their excellent community education efforts.
