DHS gains national honors

DANVILLE — The success of Danville High School’s New Tech House in preparing students for college and work has earned the local program a national designation.

For the second year in a row, DHS’ New Tech House has been selected as a model of successful project-based learning.

New Tech Network, which provides the local high school with professional development and on-site coaching, chose the three-year-old New Tech House program at DHS as a national demonstration site for the 2011-12 school year.
