Garden project gives sanctuary in Pinckney area

Students at Pinckney New Tech High School created a peace garden as part of a schoolwide Collaboration Day. The students worked in concert with Pinckney Community High School student government to create the garden after the Student and Family Services Center expressed a need for a space to take students to talk outside the office environment.

About 200 students descended upon the area at 8:30 a.m. April 29. They finished the project at 11:30 a.m.
