Lucia Mar unveils plans for new programs

It may be the wave of future. Private donors stepping up to pay for the education of our children.

The Lucia Mar Foundation for innovation will offer two new alternative ways for students to learn. The first is a new tech high School which will go up next to Nipomo High School. The new tech program was started in Napa 15 years ago.

There are 62 new tech schools nationwide which are centered on project based learning, the students will learn by doing and each one will have an internet capable computer.
