New Tech coming to Roosevelt next year

Jessie Reed left a meeting on the innovative “New Tech High” being started at Roosevelt Career and Technical Academy a little more hopeful for her incoming freshman daughter, Tatiana.

“I just want something better for her, to have a good education and do something with her life,” Reed said. “I want something that’s going to motivate her.”

Reed joined other parents in the unveiling of the education model that combines teamwork and technology in a project-based approach.
