New Tech High School to host business fair focused on entrepreneurship

New Tech High School students have organized a business fair they'll host Wednesday as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

The fair is open to all community members, but is especially aimed at middle and high school students who are interested in learning about entrepreneurship, according to organizer Kate-Lyn Edwards.

The school has partnered with Indiana University's Kelley School of Business for the event, and business professor Brian Anderson will serve as keynote speaker. Graduate student Jonathan Schalliol will host a question-and-answer booth, and local and national businesses will have booths at the event as well. There will also be a drawing for a free, three-credit course at Ivy Tech Community College.
