Niles City Council embraces New Tech

NILES -- Count the Niles City Council among the supporters of the Niles New Tech Entrepreneurial Academy.

Following a presentation on the concept by Niles Community Schools Superintendent Richard Weigel, the council on Monday night formally adopted a resolution in favor of the program. The exercise in teamwork and problem solving is set to begin in the fall and will be limited to 125 freshmen at the high school.
