Students at Nipomo’s Central Coast New Tech High School transformed their campus into a showcase of the Great War during the school’s inaugural WWI Museum Night.
Hundreds of parents, teachers and community members were greeted by the school’s ninth-grade students, many dressed in period costumes, Wednesday night to tour 29 different student-created display station/exhibits, ranging from Lego fighter planes to a delousing station.
The students acted as museum docents during the event, and some took on the roles of actors, portraying scenes of wounded and combat soldiers, medics, dignitaries and the like.Read the full article »
