VWCS board, community members learn about New Tech at Indiana school

HUNTINGTON, Indiana - A group of Van Wert City Schools Board of Education members and community leaders made an important trip west on U.S. 224 on Friday morning to visit Viking New Tech, a New Tech school within Huntington North High School. By all accounts, they came away impressed with what they saw.

"This really isn't just a change in the paradigm," said VWCS Board President Mike Morrow. "You completely threw out the old paradigm." He went on to rhetorically ask if the Viking high school graduates would be better prepared for the job market than some college graduates.
