Warren New Tech High School holds open house

Warren New Tech High School (WNTHS) hosted a grand opening reception and tour last week to celebrate its new facility, which opened this past May. Members of the Warren County Board of Education, Warren County Board of Commissioners, New Tech Network and Warren County school administration expressed their fondness of the school's growth and student success since WNTHS opened in 2007.

The school operated at two different sites before being relocated to a new school building on Highway 158 bypass near the Warren County High School/Warren County Middle School campus.

"There are only four New Tech schools in North Carolina, and we are the only school that made the decision, with the support of the Warren County Board of Education, to have a separate site," said Warren County Schools Superintendent Dr. Ray Spain. "We wanted to establish Warren New Tech as a separate school with its own culture and also give parents the opportunity to have a choice.
