When the doors at Manor New Tech High School (MNTHS) opened in August 2007, 160 students crossed the educational threshold into a school that focused on their potential futures in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Manor New Tech, built on the New Tech Network model of project-based learning, is strikingly different from what is found in traditional high school settings. The project-based learning environment sets up an atmosphere where learning is student-driven and engaging, and meets the needs of a wide variety of academic abilities. Our student population is made up of applicants accepted through a blind lottery and is diverse in all aspects.
