As a public magnet school, Da Vinci Charter Academy offers a smaller learning community with a problem-based learning approach that meets state standards. Opened in fall 2004 with 10th and 11th grades, the school offers a technology-enhanced alternative to the traditional delivery of curriculum. Initially supported by both the Gates Foundation and a federal Smaller Learning Community grant, Da Vinci Charter Academy is part of the New Tech Network. Our school name represents the pinnacle of the integration of arts, sciences and innovative thinking we strive to emulate. Our students are encouraged to be creative and forward thinking.
