New Tech STEM @ Eastside Memorial is a science, math, engineering and technology school that focuses on environmental studies, green technologies and green design. Students have the opportunity to take career classes to prepare for well-paying jobs in the future, especially the growing field of green jobs in environmental industries. Our school provides every student with a laptop computer for use in class and at home. It is a small, innovative school that provides personal attention for every student. Our students learn using a “hands-on” approach developed to keep them interested in their classwork. They have the opportunity to work with Austin business and community leaders on projects and internships.
