School Profile:
Sacramento New Technology High School (SNTHS) promotes the development of individual responsibility by teaching in a creative, businesslike culture that values learning at high levels.
We use a different approach to teaching and learning in order to get different results. Our primary mode of instruction is project-based learning. To motivate higher learning, teachers design projects that meet state educational requirements and also are relevant and engaging to students. This approach is supported by a 1:1 computing environment, in which all students and teachers use a dedicated computer. Students regularly present their projects and work. Graduating students must prepare a digital portfolio that demonstrates their mastery of SNTHS’s learning outcomes.
