School Profile:
The School of Life Sciences (SoLS) will focus on the life sciences, including biology and biochemistry, as well as global health issues.
SoLS Course Objectives:
•Students investigate the human body's systems and health conditions, learning about human physiology, medicine, research processes, and bioinformatics.
•Students examine the interactions of body systems. They design experiments and investigate the structures and functions of the human body.
•Students investigate the interventions involved in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease. Students are exposed to the wide range of interventions related to immunology, surgery, genetics, pharmacology, medical devices, and diagnostics.
•Students apply their knowledge and skills to solve problems related to the biomedical sciences. They have the opportunity to work on an independent project and may work with a mentor or advisor.
