Lakeland Leading Edge in Lakeland School Corporation, La Grange County, opened our doors in August 2010 to 185 ninth grade students and 180 tenth grade students as we began a whole-school New Tech transformation. In 2010, sixteen teachers will be directly involved with the instruction of New Tech students that includes 4 integrated course offerings.

We are a rural school in the northeast corner of Indiana. Lakeland offers a comprehensive high school experience with a focus on six career pathways (Business, Engineering, Agriculture, Communications, Health, and Services - BEACHeS). With the development of Lakeland's Leading EDGE, the overall high school experience will prepare studetns for the challenges of the 21st Century through a focus on project based learning.
