We are a small rural 6-12 school located in Northwest Louisiana. We serve approximately 220 students. While our students in grades 6-8 are mainly taught following a traditional model, we have made a few changes to better prepare them to enter a New Tech model in grades 9-12. Our hope is to implement the New Tech model through the whole school in the near future. We are a neighborhood school, but we offer open enrollment for any student in our school district. All students in grades 9-12 are taught through PBL in all classes. Many of our classes are integrated (English and Social Studies; Math and Science). We provide learning environments centered on a strong culture of trust, respect, and ownership, empowering our students to become the creators, leaders, and producers of tomorrow.
