School Profile:
New Tech High School @ Roosevelt Career & Technical Academy (New Tech @ Roosevelt CTA) is located in the D-wing building of Roosevelt Career & Technical Academy. The campus will open in the fall of 2011 with 100 freshman learners. The campus will continue to enroll freshmen annually, serving grades 9-12, by the 2014-15 school year with total anticipated enrollment of approximately 400 learners.
New Tech @ Roosevelt is a fully accredited high school program offered through the Gary Community School Corporation. New Tech offers students a quality education that emphasizes global learning outcomes: Collaboration, Technology Literacy, Content Mastery, Citizenship & Work Ethic, Oral & Written Communication. The district will partner with the New Tech Network’s (NTN) national foundation to implement project-based, collaborative instruction, with a focus on technology and a one-to-one computing ratio.
